Why I love it
...Because it does what it claims! It beefs up the lashes, adds length & separates each lash. The brush is nice and thick so it gets to every lash to plump it up. It wears well throughout the day, doesn’t flake or smear, washes off easily, photographs beautifully and doesn’t irritate the eyes. The brush handle is not overly large or too small so it's comfortable to hold and apply. And as if all that stuff didn’t make it great enough, it’s super affordable too!

I’ve tried a few super expensive mascaras  (almost $40 a tube) and to be quite honest they're not worth the money. I’ve tried so many in between, always hoping they‘ll live up to their claim and some have been ok - others not so much. I always come back to my tried and true L’Oreal Voluminous Original Mascara Blackest Black. This one works well on all lashes - short, thin, long, full - it makes them all look amazing. It’s a favourite I use on all of my clients as well as personally.

Bend the brush

Tip: Have a hard time putting on mascara without getting it all over your eyelid? Bend the brush a little. It will help give you more control when applying. Also, don‘t forget to replace your mascara tube every 2-3 months. Anything longer then that and bacteria will start to grow causing it to get dry & clumpy.

Fall Trend Tip: Pair this mascara with a great bold liquid liner, or bold red lips.

This is after two coats. I find this mascara works best if you alternate eyes between coats. 
Besides cropping there is no retouching done to these photos.
