Why I love it…

I purchased this product after reading a blog post about it from another make up reviewer. I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. I love this shadow. I find shimmery shadows are tricky ones to get the right consistency; some look like dry or like you’ve got big flakes of glitter stuck to your eyes. This shadow is smooth like silk. Very finely milled almost giving the appearance of a glossy lid. My favourite colour is the copper chic, it’s got all the right colours to go from daytime to night, with a hint of added colour. Make it look natural, bronzed or smoky using any or all of the colour's in this palette. It’s highly pigmented so you need only a little, it blends easily and it’s long lasting. This is a great drugstore find! Way to go Maybelline for creating fantastically smooth and highly pigmented shadow for a great price!

Tip: Want to create a gorgeous dramatic eye for those holiday parties? Start by sweeping the bronze colour over the base of your lid. Add the darkest colour to your outer crease in kind of in a V shape. Add the lightest colour to the corners of your eye to give a little highlight. A little more of the bronzed hade under your bottom lashline and voila bold dramatic eye, gorgeous for a night out!

I used the bronze shade only this one as my lovely sister, with a tiny bit of the lightest colour near the corner of the eye.
