Favourite Hair Styling Tool - InStyler® $99.99
WHAT IS IT...The InStyler® rotating hot iron is a totally new styling and straightening tool unlike any hair styling product ever invented!
The secret to the InStyler® iron lies in its rotating heated polishing cylinder, along with four rows of precision-aligned bristles.
WHY
I LOVE IT…
Let
me first start out by saying I did not purchase this product. This was given to
me in the middle of a busy workday with a few clients waiting. When in the
middle of styling one of my client’s hair my go to flat iron literally broke
right in half. The agency I work for happened to have one of these on hand and
gave it to me, I was sold! I’ve seen the infomercials and of course as always I'm a little skeptical when something sounds to good to be true, but I seriously
love this tool.
I
like the fact that it has little brushes to help keep hair in place, as well;
the rotating barrel really helps to polish hair leaving it looking super shiny
and healthy. It works well on all hair types; fine, thick, coarse, curly,
African American, it really does straighten and curl. Now with any great tool
there is always a little learning curve, it is a bit bulkier then a standard
flat iron or curling iron so it does take some time adjusting to how to use it
but once you grasp the hang of it you’ll be amazed too. I love this product for
giving volume and waves. If want super pin straight hair I would recommend
using a flat iron but if you like the look of a professional blow-dry or want
to add a little more curl to your do this little hot tool will do the trick.
Tip:
When using this to style your hair, as with any hot tool you want to section
your hair. You’ll get much better results if you take the time to do this. I
normally section hair into 4 parts, Top, Sides and back. From those sections I
will work with smaller pieces to achieve the best results. Always use a heat
protectant on your hair before styling as well.
Here's a few images of Carly getting her hair styled with the InStyler®
To achieve a wavy look on Carly, I sectioned off her hair
first. Then working with smaller sections, I comb out the piece first to make sure
there’s no major tangles, then start at the top and slowly work my way down
turning the InStyler® as I go. I styled my hair using the same technique this morning as well. (Note: Carly says don't mind her roots, I yanked her from her day job before she had time to do them)
Here's her before and after.
